An aesthete snail

 An impoverished snail called Russ (Russell)

Caused hustle and bustle and tussle

By courting rich Dilly,

As fair as a lily,

Yet he's got ART in his every corpuscle.

Russell has toured the world, gazing at paintings and examining them closely when the curators would allow him into the frame. This carried no weight in Dampbridge and his relationship with Dilly was frowned upon because of a perceived inappropriate age disparity. Snails can look very scary when frowning and so Russell left in a hurry, taking his amazing kettle with him. However, this blog will see him return. What will be the consequences and can the couple survive local enmity and cold shouldering? Snails have ultra sensitive shoulders and Russell is very shy and artistic. Every community is divided into athletes and aesthetes - and Dampbridge is full of philistine cricketers and earthy sons of the soil.
